Orientation and Settling In

Orientation feels like a blur, a distant memory and a time when friends were closer than now.

Since finishing orientation I have been trying to settle in with my host family which has been easier than I thought.

My host family are amazing, I knew that from the moment that my HM greeted me at the train station terminal with open arms. The children have been great with helping me adjust and feel at home. They are such great kids.

I have sort of managed to figure out the subway as much as humanly possible and I have walked more this week than I did in the last year lol.

I am not saying that being so far from home has been easy but keeping in touch with everyone helps, and also not sitting still for too long.

I do believe the friends made at Orientation will be your saving grace here as I am already one of the closest friends that I made there... hope to see her soon.

Time does seem to move a lot faster here than I am accustom to but before I know it, that will be routine.

Trips to plan and with the holiday season approaching its gonna be a busy but great time.

Love Bronwyn.
