Well that all changed in one weekend... NBA All Star Weekend was being hosted by New York City and Brooklyn which was super exciting. On Friday night. my host family and I went to Madison Square Garden for the All Star Celebrity Game, we had backstage passes and were able to take in the whole experience before the game which was amazing. The excitement was in the air for everyone and you could feel it.
On Saturday, my host family went away for the weekend and as it was my weekend off they gifted me with ticket to the Slam Dunk competition at Barclays Centre which was phenomenal!! I was 5 rows from the court taking in all the excitement, intensity and ultimately the fun. It was an experience I won't soon forget.
Brooklyn was experiencing some of the coldest weather in recent history (-14 degrees to be exact) and I still decided that it was the ideal time to head out for drinks and dinner with a friend of mine which ended up being a ton of fun, just to catch up and have girlie chats was amazing.
The weekend was soon over but the best was yet to come but more of that in the next post.
For now I will be enjoying the spectacular view that Jackson Hole Wyoming has to offer!
